A burnt-out British spy becomes the recipient of tapes implicating senior MI-6 officers in some light treason. Before he even knows what he has, most of his office has already been killed.

When Archie Cookson (Paul Rhys), a washed-up British spy, mysteriously receives stolen secret tapes, he becomes the target of an assassination by senior MI6 officials. Archie survives the elimination of his departmental colleagues only to be confronted by his long time friend and ex-CIA 'problem solver', Ennis Miller (Paul Ritter). Initially appearing to be Archie's salvation, Ennis is soon revealed to be a reluctant assassin hired to finish the job, but instead grants a stay of execution for Archie to reconcile his differences with his estranged family. As the grim reality of the next 48 hours begins to dawn on Archie, a chance encounter with an alluring young woman fires up the long lost passion and fight that Archie once possessed. Determined to evade his tormentors and bring to justice those responsible for the tapes, Archie battles to right his wrongs whilst inadvertently endangering the lives of those he loves in the process as Ennis tries to eliminate Archie Cookson.

Archie is devastated to learn of the death of his beloved aunt. He makes the long journey to the home she's left him in the Outer Hebrides and a new day brings renewed hope for Archie and his dog.

Archie is the 1964 unsold pilot based on the Archie comic book series. The whole gang is included, Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead, Reggie, Mr. Weatherbee, Ms. Grundy… William Schallert (most notably the dad in The Patty Duke Show) plays Archie’s dad and Jean Vander Pyl (Wilma’s voice in The Flintstones) plays the mom.

Inspired, in part, by the comic book Archie: The Married Life, which presents Archie Andrews with two alternate futures — one in which he marries girl-next-door Betty Cooper, and one where he marries heiress Veronica Lodge. Plot TBA.

A man who is fed up with his office job finds himself targeted by a hitman after he unexpectedly agrees to act as stand-in CEO for a major corporation. However, for some reason, the hitmen start getting killed off one by one.

Educating Archie was a BBC Light Programme comedy show which was broadcast for nearly ten years between June 1950 and February 1960, mostly at lunchtime on Sundays. The programme featured ventriloquist Peter Brough and his doll Archie Andrews. The show was very popular, despite its unlikely central premise of a ventriloquist act on radio. Educating Archie averaged 15 million listeners, and a fan club boasted 250,000 members. It was so successful that in 1950, after only four months on the air, it won the Daily Mail's Variety Award. This series is lost.
